Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school-based team in South Bend, Indiana. This role involves evaluating, treating, and consulting to support students’ communication development within an IEP framework.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring evidence-based interventions and compliance with IDEA standards. Indiana licensure or eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Indiana licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• IDOE credential/authorization for school-based practice, as applicable.
• ASHA CCC (preferred); Clinical Fellows may be considered.
• Completion of required supervised clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students to identify speech, language, and communication needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Provide direct speech and language therapy services.
• Complete assessments, progress reports, and required documentation.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers.
• Provide evidence-based intervention targeting articulation, language, fluency, and social communication.
• Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
• Recommend accommodations and communication strategies.
• Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal requirements.

About the Position

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid Indiana Speech-Language Pathologist license through the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency, or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Appropriate Indiana Department of Education credential/authorization for school-based practice, as applicable
• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred; eligible Clinical Fellows may be considered
• Completion of required supervised clinical experience
• Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and school-based service delivery
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Successful completion of required background screening and district onboarding requirements
