Job description

We’re partnering with a school in La Porte County, IN to hire dedicated Speech Language Pathologist.

Speech Language Pathologists support students by identifying and treating communication disorders that impact academic participation, social engagement, and overall school success. This role ensures students receive individualized, evidence based speech and language services that help them access the curriculum and thrive within the school community.

  • End Date: 6/2/26
  • Schedule: 40 hours per week, split between two elementary schools
Responsibilities:
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in K-5 students
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and progress monitoring
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to support student communication needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
  • Provide direct and consultative services in accordance with district and state guidelines
  • Support inclusive practices and communication strategies in classroom settings
Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active Indiana SLP license or eligibility
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Knowledge of IEP processes, special education regulations, and school?based service delivery
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to provide evidence?based therapeutic interventions for elementary?aged students
