Job summary

Douglas Education Service District is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to work with students in Kindergarten through 12th grade. This position serves the schools of Douglas County, and the location of this position can be subject to change.

190 days per year, 5 days per week beginning immediately. The role includes comprehensive assessment, therapy, and consultation services in the area of communication disorders.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid SLP license from the Oregon Board of Examiners for Speech Language Pathology or TSPC license with endorsement for communication disorders or speech impairment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessment, therapy, and consultation services in communication disorders.
• Design and implement instructional programs to meet IEP/IFSP goals.
• Participate in IEP/IFSP development and work as part of a school team.
• Collaborate with students, families, and staff to support therapy needs.
• Carry out duties as assigned.
