Job summary

BlazerJobs, Inc. is seeking a Special Education professional to support K-12 students in a district near Kelso, WA. This full-time, onsite contract runs through the 2026-2027 school year, with responsibilities across several school buildings.

You will maintain accurate SPED documentation, collaborate with teachers, admins, and families, and travel to multiple district sites while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations for IEP development and best practices.

Qualifications

• Active SPED certification/license required.
• Experience with K-12 students preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to travel across multiple sites within the district.
• Team collaboration with teachers and families.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date SPED documentation.
• Collaborate with teachers, admins, and families to meet student needs.
• Travel to various school sites within the district.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal SPED regulations.
• Develop or update IEPs.
• Serve as a resource for staff on SPED processes and best practices.
