Qualifications

• Active GaPSC/Georgia General SPED Certification (or similar) required and must be submitted with your application.
• Previous experience in school-based special education roles.
• Proven skills in case management, IEP development and implementation.
• Ability to collaborate with general education teachers and related service staff.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and documentation abilities.
• Reliable transportation and full-time availability (Mon-Fri, 40 hours/week)

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction to a caseload of 1518 students in an inclusive resource setting
• Support students academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth
• Implement and monitor IEPs according to state and federal guidelines
• Partner with families, school staff, and administrators to foster a supportive environment
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and compliance requirements
