The position requires a Minnesota Special Education license, a Bachelor's degree, and experience applying IDEA/504 in a K-8 setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education required.
• Minnesota teaching license in Special Education or eligible.
• Experience with IEPs and IDEA/504.
• K-8 urban public or charter school experience preferred.
• Strong data collection and progress monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted, IEP-aligned instruction to students individually and in small groups.
• Collect, analyze, and use progress-monitoring data to inform instruction.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers.
• Implement behavior intervention and de-escalation strategies.
• Coordinate IEPs, evaluations, and progress reports with timely communication to families.
• Create a warm, structured learning environment with high expectations.
