Amergis Westminster, CA is seeking a Special Education Teacher to provide high-quality services to K–12 students under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator. You will participate in planning and implementing student programs, including special instruction, tutorial support, and collaboration with general education staff.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree, valid teaching certification, and relevant endorsements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred.
• Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations.
• Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred.
• State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Elementary Teaching preferred.
• State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Secondary Teaching preferred.
• State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Special Teaching preferred.

Responsibilities

• Special Education Teacher provides quality services to special education students, kindergarten through grade 12.
• Collaborates with the Special Education Program Administrator and general education staff to plan and implement student programs, including instruction, tutorial assistance and consultation.
