Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support students from kindergarten through 12th grade. The role reports to the Special Education Program Administrator and emphasizes teamwork in planning and implementing individual programs, including instruction, tutoring, and consultation with general education staff.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree, valid state teaching certificate, and experience in a teaching environment; LBS1 endorsement is preferred and compliance with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred.
• Valid state teaching certificate as required by state regulations.
• LBS1 endorsement preferred; Elementary/Secondary/Special Teaching certifications may apply.
• Must meet health and safety requirements (CPR/health certificate as applicable).

Responsibilities

• Provide quality services to special education students K–12.
• Participate in planning and implementing student programs.
