Amergis seeks a Special Education Teacher to deliver quality instruction and services for students from kindergarten through 12th grade under the Special Education Program Administrator. You will participate in planning and implementing individualized programs, including instruction, tutorial support and collaboration with general education staff.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor's Degree and a valid state teaching certificate, with at least one year of teaching experience; an LBS1 endorsement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required and valid state teaching certificate per district regulations.
• Minimum of one year teaching experience preferred.
• Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality services to special education students from kindergarten through grade 12.
• Participate in planning and implementing student programs.
• Consult with general education staff and provide tutorial assistance when needed.
