Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a contract SLP/SLPA to support K-12 students in the Stony Creek, VA area across multiple school sites. Onsite roles require collaboration with teachers, parents, and educational teams to deliver effective speech-language interventions.

You will provide direct therapy, conduct assessments, and help develop IEPs while maintaining compliance with school procedures. Remote supervision for SLPAs will be provided by an experienced SLP.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as an SLP-CCC or SLPA (school setting credential required)
• Experience working with K-12 populations, or a strong desire to provide school-based speech-language support
• Familiarity with IEPs, student documentation, and collaborating with educational teams
• Comfortable working onsite across multiple school locations
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to a diverse caseload of K-12 students
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and track progress
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to deliver effective interventions
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with school procedures
• SLPAs will receive ongoing supervision and mentorship from a remote SLP
