Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School-Based
Position Overview
We are seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support K–12 students across Virginia for the remainder of the 2025–2026 school year.
Opportunities are available in remote, hybrid, and on-site settings throughout the state.
- Fully remote positions are 1099 contract roles
- Hybrid and on-site positions are W2 contract roles
In this role, the SLP will assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders while collaborating closely with educators, families, and school-based teams. Providers will develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support students’ communication skills and academic success.
Bilingual candidates (Spanish/English) are strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for K–12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with teachers and families
- Provide direct therapy services addressing articulation, fluency, voice, and language needs
- Monitor, track, and document student progress; adjust treatment plans as needed
- Maintain consistent communication with families and school personnel
- Participate in school meetings, IEP meetings, and ongoing professional development (virtual or on-site, as applicable)
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
- Professional liability insurance required for remote roles
- Experience working with K–12 students (middle school experience preferred)
- Bilingual Spanish/English skills preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently in a virtual environment
- Knowledge of evidence-based speech-language pathology practices
- Hourly pay starting at $50+, based on experience
- Weekly direct deposit
- 1099 contract for remote roles
- W2 contract for hybrid and on-site roles
