Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support K-12 students across four school sites for the upcoming school year. This full-time, in-person role begins in August, with orientation possible in July 2025.

You will deliver direct services, participate in IEP meetings, and conduct screenings, evaluations, progress monitoring, and documentation in line with district and state requirements. Collaboration with SLPA and CF colleagues is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Requires valid SLP licensure for Virginia or pursuing licença
• Experience in K-12 educational settings preferred
• CFY candidates or SLPA background considered
• In-person service delivery required; teletherapy not required
• Must be willing to travel between multiple school sites during the week
• Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills
• Collaborative approach within multidisciplinary teams to support students

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech-language pathology services to K-12 students across four school buildings
• Participate in IEP meetings and offer assessment-informed recommendations
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, progress monitoring, and proper documentation per district/state requirements
• Liaise with teachers, families, and support staff to ensure continuity of care
• Mentor SLPA and CF staff as needed
• Adapt to different school environments while maintaining a consistent schedule (approx. 7:30am-3:00pm)
