Job summary

Princeton Staffing Solutions in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking a School Social Worker (MSW, LMSW) for a 37.5-hour, 41-week W2 contract with local or travel assignments in a public school district. The role centers on student mental health in a School setting, including eligibility evaluation for special education and collaboration on IEP goals with school staff.

You will deliver direct social work services to students and support families, with licensure requirements and ongoing professional

Qualifications

• MSW degree required for eligibility.
• State social work license may be required by state.
• Educational/teacher certification may be required by the state department.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate eligibility for special education and placement as part of the IEP team.
• Assess social and emotional development, mental health status, and adaptive behavior relevant to case study evaluations.
• Use a holistic approach to assess cultural, environmental, and socio-economic factors.
• Determine related service needs and set goals/objectives aligned with special education eligibility.
• Collaborate with school staff on functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plans.
• Share assessment findings during IEP meetings and conferences.
• Provide individual, group, or evidence-based curriculum instruction as required by the student's IEP.
• Deliver direct social work services to students.

Assess social and emotional development, mental health status, and adaptive behavior relevant to case study evaluations.
