Job summary

Princeton Staffing Solutions in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking a School Social Worker (MSW, LMSW) for a 37.5-hour, 41-week W2 contract with local or travel assignments in a public school district. The role centers on student mental health in a School setting, including eligibility evaluation for special education and collaboration on IEP goals with school staff.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Evaluate eligibility for special education and placement as part of the IEP team.
• Assess social and emotional development, mental health status, and adaptive behavior relevant to case study evaluations.
• Use a holistic approach to assess cultural, environmental, and socio-economic factors.
• Determine related service needs and set goals/objectives aligned with special education eligibility.
• Collaborate with school staff on functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plans.
• Share assessment findings during IEP meetings and conferences.
• Provide individual, group, or evidence-based curriculum instruction as required by the student's IEP.
• Deliver direct social work services to students.
