Job summary

NANA Regional Corporation, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker for Deering, Alaska. This on-site role involves cleaning, food prep support, stocking, and serving in a school kitchen and related areas.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (speaking, reading and writing).
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• At least one year of work experience or vocational training related to cleaning, food preparation, or general cleaning processes preferred.
• Certain positions may require a valid Driver’s License and driving record.

Responsibilities

• Washes objects by hand or with cleaning equipment.
• Cleans dishes, utensils, pots, pans etc. and stores them in an orderly manner.
• Maintains products at proper levels in prep, serving or storage areas.
• Stocks storage areas with various products.
• Cleans, sweeps, wipes down dining, kitchen, or storage areas and equipment; cleans floors.
• Removes garbage; sets up or breaks down tables and serving lines.
• Assists with large cleaning projects as scheduled.
• Assists cooks and coordinates activities with others.
• May occasionally prepare food or cook vegetables, entrees, coffee, sauces, meats, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.
