Job summary

NANA Regional Corporation, Inc. in Selawik is seeking a Food Service Worker to perform cleaning, maintenance, food preparation, stocking, and serving duties in a school kitchen.

You will wash dishes, stock storerooms, assist cooks, and help with large cleaning projects while maintaining safe, clean dining areas.

Weather is indoor/outdoor with on-site work in Selawik; prior experience is helpful, with a high school diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Certain position(s) require a valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Washes objects by hand or with cleaning equipment.
• Cleans dishes, utensils, pots, pans etc. and places in storage areas in an organized manner.
• Maintains products at certain levels in prep, serving, or storage areas including service machines.
• Stocks storage areas with various products.
• Cleans all dining, kitchen, or storage areas and floors.
• Removes garbage, sets up/breaks down tables and serving lines.
• Assists with periodically scheduled large cleaning projects.
• Assists cooks and coordinates activities with others.
• Occasionally prepares food or cooks vegetables, entrees, coffee, sauces, meats.
• Other duties as assigned.
