Job summary

Casa Blanca Community School is seeking a Food Service Coordinator to oversee meal preparation and service, manage production and delivery systems, and ensure adherence to nutrition and quality standards.

The role includes purchasing, inventory control, and training while supervising food service staff to support students and staff. A bachelor's degree in related fields or equivalent experience is required, plus a valid food handler permit and background checks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in nutrition/food service management or related field or state-recognized certificate; bachelor's in any area with certificate is acceptable
• Experience in school nutrition with 3 years of supervisory leadership
• Food Handler's Permit/Card; preferred training in food service management and computer skills
• Valid Arizona Driver's License and DPS IVP background/security checks required
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification required

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve all meals; oversee food service production and delivery
• Manage purchasing and inventory of food and supplies
• Ensure conformance with nutrition, quality, and productivity standards
• Train, supervise, and evaluate food service staff
• Maintain accurate records and reporting per district policies
