Job summary

Southwest Foodservice Excellence, LLC is seeking a Chef Manager to oversee the food service operations for the San Luis school program. You will lead salaried managers and hourly staff, manage budgets, and drive revenue growth while upholding HACCP and safety standards.

The role requires strong leadership, cost controls, and client relationship skills with a focus on school meal programs and contract management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in food service management or related field preferred.
• 2-5 years in the Food Service industry; 2-3 years as a Chef Manager, preferably K-12.

Responsibilities

• Oversee salaried managers and hourly staff in the Food Service Department.
• Manage the account, client interface and quality of service.
• Train the Assistant Food Service Director for new contracts.
