Job summary

EDU Healthcare is seeking qualified Speech-Language Pathologists to join our school-based teams for the upcoming school year. These positions serve students across grades PreK–12 across Santa Rosa County, Florida.

You will evaluate and diagnose speech and language disorders, develop IEPs, provide direct therapy to students in both individual and group settings, and collaborate with teachers and parents to support student communication goals.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
  • Active SLP license in Florida or eligibility to obtain prior to start.
  • CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of IEP processes, therapy documentation, and educational service delivery.
  • Work in a structured, school-based setting with built-in school holidays.
  • Collaborate closely with educators and support staff to make a direct impact on student success.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication goals
  • Maintain detailed records and progress reports in accordance with school and district policies
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and progress
  • Stay current with best practices and continue professional development as required
