Job summary

EDU Healthcare is seeking an on-site School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist in Broward County to support district partners and help students achieve communication goals in a collaborative school setting. Requirements include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, active Florida SLP license (or eligibility), and CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates are encouraged to apply.

Experience with school-aged children and strong collaboration are valued.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active Florida SLP license or eligibility to obtain prior to start.
  • CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and therapy documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support goals.
  • Maintain detailed records and progress reports per policies.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goals.
  • Stay current with best practices and professional development.
