Job summary

HJ Staffing, on behalf of HISD, seeks a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to serve on an HISD campus(s). The role involves delivering comprehensive speech and language services, evaluating students, and developing IEPs in compliance with IDEA and TEA timelines.

You will manage a student caseload, collaborate with teachers and related services, participate in ARD meetings, document progress, and ensure data is recorded in HISD systems.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Texas license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (TDLR/SBESLPA) is required.
• Ability to pass background check and onboarding process.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial, reevaluation, and triennial evaluations to determine eligibility.
• Develop and implement IEPs with measurable goals.
• Provide direct and consultative therapy (individual and group).
• Monitor student progress and document in HISD data systems.
• Participate in ARD meetings and ensure IDEA/TEA/HISD compliance.
• Complete SHARS billing documentation as needed.
