Job summary

AnthroMed Education is seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year in Monroe County, MI. This full-time role supports K-12 students across multiple school settings, focusing on fine motor, sensory, self-care, and participation in classroom activities.

You will collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to develop IEP-aligned treatment plans and ensure accurate documentation throughout the school year with ongoing mentorship and clinical

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Michigan Occupational Therapist licensure or eligibility.
• Experience with pediatric or school-based settings is preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to K-12 students with fine motor, sensory, self-care needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers to promote student success.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and sensory strategies to improve participation in school routines.
• Monitor progress, maintain documentation, and complete Medicaid and IEP paperwork.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute recommendations regarding student needs.
