Job summary

Rogue Community Health is seeking a School-Based Behavioral Health Clinician in Eagle Point, Oregon. The role involves delivering mental health services within a school-based setting and collaborating with school staff and families to support student well-being.

The position is a full-time professional role with a .85 FTE and eight weeks off during summer. A graduate degree and Oregon licensure are required, with in-house supervision available for licensure progress.

Qualifications

• The candidate holds a graduate degree in social work, professional counseling, marriage and family therapy, or psychology.
• Two years’ experience working with children/adolescents in a behavioral/mental health setting.
• Oregon licensure as a Professional Counselor, Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Qualified Mental Health Professional, or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and meet student behavioral/mental health needs for aged k-12 students.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and care teams to develop feasible care plans.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with OAR standards.
• Implement protocol for mental health referrals and services.
• Present to staff and students on preventive issues and life skills.
