Job summary

LVI Associates is seeking a licensed Project Architect to lead design, documentation, and delivery for complex K-12 education projects in the Denver/Boulder area. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage technical execution, and ensure concept-through-construction administration success.

The role emphasizes leadership, strong communication, and client collaboration to deliver high-quality educational environments and meet budget and schedule targets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
  • Active architectural licensure required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional architectural experience.
  • Experience managing projects from concept through construction administration.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, construction methods, specs, and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate project teams through all design and documentation phases.
  • Collaborate with internal disciplines and external consultants to meet project goals.
  • Ensure on-time delivery within budget and aligned with client expectations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Participate in business development, project scoping, and pursuit support.
  • Apply building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Direct production of construction documents and specifications.
  • Assist with programming, budgeting, and planning as needed.
  • Perform QA/QC reviews for document accuracy and completeness.
  • Attend client meetings and interpret construction documents during execution.
  • Oversee construction administration activities including RFIs and submittals.
  • Collaborate across offices/practices to support project success.
  • Contribute to firm-wide initiatives for design quality and delivery.
