Job summary

Cooper Carry seeks a Project Architect in Denver to develop project vision, design, and complete, coordinated documents for complex projects. You will lead a team, coordinate consultants, and ensure design intent is realized on schedule and within budget. A licensed architect with 5+ years of experience and Revit proficiency are required, with knowledge of K-12 education projects preferred. The role involves client interaction and construction administration.

Qualifications

• Licensed/Registered Architect with 5+ years of industry experience.
• Proficiency in Revit and Autodesk AEC Suite.
• Experience with K-12 or education projects preferred.
• Strong communication, coordination, and presentation skills.
• Ability to lead a project team and coordinate consultants.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the overall Project Team.
• Direct internal and external consultants to meet project goals.
• Adhere to Cooper Carry and Client guidelines to meet deadlines and budget.
• Plan and develop architectural projects from concept through documentation.
• Build trusted relationships with Clients, Consultants, GCs, fabricators and suppliers.
• Assist in proposal/marketing efforts to define project scope and goals.
• Apply knowledge of building codes and industry standards to design decisions.
• Lead a team to produce complete drawings and specifications on time and within budget.
• Support the Project Manager in budget and program development when applicable.
• Participate in QA/QC reviews to ensure task accuracy and completeness.
• Meet with Clients and Contractors for contract interpretation.
• Oversee Construction Contract Administration process.
• Maintain knowledge of Cooper Carry projects and resources.
• Collaborate with other studios to meet project objectives.
• Contribute to overall project, studio, and firm quality.
