Job summary

Procon, a leading construction management and technology consulting firm, seeks an experienced Project Manager to support DC's DGS and DCPS capital program in Washington, DC. You will serve as Owner’s Representative, guiding school modernization, renovations, and facility upgrades through planning, design, procurement, construction, occupancy and turnover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CM/engineering/architecture or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in construction or capital project management (7+ preferred).
• Experience across design, procurement, construction, and occupancy.
• Strong skills in CPM scheduling, budgeting, and change management.
• Public-sector or large capital program experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects through full lifecycle from planning to occupancy.
• Coordinate planning, procurement, design management, and approvals.
• Review drawings, schedules, budgets, GMPs, changes, and bids.
• Monitor progress, safety, quality, and schedule performance.
• Provide portfolio-level reporting and stakeholder updates.
