Job summary

ACCEL Schools LLC seeks an online K-12 teacher for Indiana, serving as the teacher of record and primary instructor. You will deliver live lessons, monitor progress, and collaborate with the Principal to report student progress. The role combines virtual instruction with periodic in-person testing and events.

You will differentiate instruction, apply research-based practices, and maintain strong family communication to support student growth and social-emotional development.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook).
• Ability to stand for up to 90 minutes at a time.
• Experience working in a multi-cultural setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the teacher of record and primary instructor.
• Meet student achievement and culture goals and state accountability targets.
• Deliver live lessons via web conference and research-based practices.
• Set up courses in the Learning Management System and monitor progress.
• Provide daily feedback/grades for asynchronous courses.
• Maintain contact with each student and report progress to families.
• Collaborate with Principal to create and deliver Progress Reports.
• Differentiate instruction to meet all students’ needs.
• Implement culturally responsive teaching and 21st-century tech skills.
