Job summary

ACCEL Schools LLC seeks licensed Ohio teachers for online K-12 instruction, delivering live and asynchronous lessons to meet state standards. The role involves course setup in the LMS, frequent progress monitoring, and communication with families.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Ohio teaching license in the appropriate content area.
• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards.
• Preferred two years’ teaching experience.
• Comfort in a growth-focused coaching environment with frequent observations and progress monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the teacher of record and primary instructor in core content areas and grade levels.
• Deliver live lessons via web conference based on student need.
• Complete course setup in the Learning Management System.
• Monitor student progress and provide daily feedback/grades.
• Communicate with families regarding student growth.
• Collaborate with Principal to create Progress Reports of Students.
• Travel to support required face-to-face state testing annually.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
