Job summary

Kaleidoscope Education Solutions is seeking a K-12 Occupational Therapist in Chicago, IL to deliver evaluation-based therapy within school settings. The role is an independent contractor position, partnering with teachers and families to support student success.

The OT will develop therapy plans, implement direct and consultative services, and maintain comprehensive documentation for compliance. Illinois licensure and school-based certification are required, with flexible scheduling and ongoing

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Must hold a valid Illinois OT license and meet school-based certification requirements.
• Experience working with children in an educational setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations to determine students' functional abilities and develop individualized therapy plans.
• Deliver direct and consultative OT to help students improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living tasks.
• Work with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success in the classroom.
• Keep accurate records of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and compliance reports.
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing input on accommodations and modifications for student success.
