Job summary

Everstone Academy is seeking an Independent Contractor Occupational Therapist to support K-8th grade students in Chicago area schools. The role covers a caseload with varied diagnoses, flexible scheduling within school days, and meetings paid at hourly rate.

Responsibilities include developing individualized plans and delivering direct OT services. Caseload ranges from 15-35 hours per week, with hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans based on student needs and goals.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services, including areas such as fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills.
• Create and document individualized goals and lesson plans.
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate records, treatment plans, progress notes, and other relevant information.
• Manage student scheduling in the client portal, TheraNest.
• Document daily sessions clearly and promptly.
• Share student progress with parents and/or the school, highlighting successes.
• Support the program by conducting screeners and identifying opportunities for new client engagement.
• Attend one monthly Everstone Partner Program meeting (30 minutes) and one domain-specific meeting (30 minutes) paid at your hourly rate.
• Expertise in Occupational Therapy
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to design and adapt individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
