Job summary

A leading education support organization is seeking a K-12 Licensed Occupational Therapist in Chicago, IL. This role involves conducting student evaluations, developing individualized therapy plans, and supporting student success alongside teachers and families. Candidates must hold a Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy and a valid Illinois license. Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program required.
• Must hold a valid Illinois occupational therapy license and meet school-based certification requirements.
• Experience working with children in an educational setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations to determine students’ functional abilities and develop individualized therapy plans.
• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy to help students improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living tasks.
• Work with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success in the classroom.
• Keep accurate records of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and compliance reports.
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing input on accommodations and modifications for student success.
