Job summary

Oxford Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a certified Occupational Therapist to provide K-12 school-based services.

Providers will work one on one with students and collaborate with staff to create customized programs and interventions to meet each student’s goals and needs. The ideal candidate will use a holistic approach, adapt the environment for client progress, and hold a California OT license with a minimum of two years of pediatric experience.

Qualifications

• California OT license is required.
• Pediatric experience is required.
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills are essential.
• MS degree or higher in Occupational Therapy.
• At least 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• 1 year of school-based or clinical experience with ages 3-18 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• K-12 caseload.
• Address client’s progress and engagement in occupations affected by health and living quality.
• Determine and implement the client’s treatment methodology and guidance in interventions.
• Provide therapeutic services to clients with autism spectrum disorder and sensory needs.
• Plan, engage, and implement IFSPs or IEPs.
• Educate clients on better task approaches and mentor on small goal progress.
• Provide care and instruction to family members and caregivers.
• Oversee data collection and progress corrections toward long- and short-term treatment markers.
• Prepare progress reports.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and state/federal regulations.
