Qualifications

Job Description

• Provide specialized, targeted instruction to Multilingual Learner students in collaboration with the district lead teacher
• Focus on specific areas of need such as vocabulary, grammar, reading comprehension, and speaking skills through small group or individual interventions
• Evaluate students’ academic and social growth and collaborate with general education teachers to ensure the Multilingual Learner students’ progress within the mainstream classroom
• Acknowledge and embrace diversity to create an inclusive environment that respects and appreciates different backgrounds and perspectives
• Establish open communications with students, parents, staff, and the community
• Any other duties assigned by the Principal and/or designee
