Job summary

LearningMate is seeking a Director Learning Design to co-lead the development of high-quality K-12 learning solutions. You will partner with cross-functional teams to create effective, engaging content and prototype AI-powered designs tailored to client needs.

You will lead editorial quality, mentor teams, and collaborate on presales while promoting inclusive, accessible learning aligned with DEI principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science required.
• Master’s in Science, Learning Design, Instructional Design, Educational Leadership, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of leadership in K-12 science education, client success, instructional design, or digital content delivery.
• Experience developing scalable learning solutions using AI tools, rapid development tools, CMS and LMSs.

Responsibilities

• Co-lead the execution of high-quality K-12 learning solutions with cross-functional teams.
• Prototype and scale AI-powered learning design solutions aligned with client needs.
• Editorial authority on delivered content to ensure quality and pedagogical standards.
• Mentor and develop teams, including in-house and freelance staff.
• Collaborate with sales and solutions teams on presales initiatives and client proposals.
