Job summary

Midland Public Schools is seeking a Manager of Human Resources to oversee HR services across the employee lifecycle and support staffing, budgeting, and policy administration. You will coordinate leaves, accommodations, and unemployment processes while ensuring data integrity and compliance.

The position requires a Bachelor's in HR or related field (or substantial progress with 3+ years of HR experience) and experience in a K-12 setting, preferably with union knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field, or significant progress with 3+ years HR experience.
• MSBO HR certification or willingness to pursue certification is preferred.
• Experience in K-12 public school HR is strongly preferred, especially in a unionized environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR services throughout the employee lifecycle and support staffing, leaves, and compensation processes.
• Coordinate benefits, leaves (FMLA), workers' comp, unemployment, and ADA accommodations.
• Develop HR reports and analyze workforce data to inform leadership decisions.
