Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s Degree in Education with a Tennessee certificate and endorsement in the taught grade/subject.
• Experience aligning curriculum to state and district Fall School requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create and prepare fall school instructional materials and evidence of preparation.
• Maintain classroom behavior and manage the classroom inside and outside of school.
• Assess student progress and provide written/oral reports to parents, administrator, and staff.
• Plan fall school curriculum and lessons to meet student needs per state and district requirements.
• Consult with parents and staff to develop educational programs.
• Create learning materials tailored to student abilities and interests.
• Instruct students using strategies to develop sensory, motor, language, cognition, social, and emotional skills.
• Motivate students and provide feedback on learning activities.
• Maintain accurate records as required by law and district policy.
• Sponsor activities and tutor students as requested.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
