Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking an Educational Diagnostician for a full-time contract position in a school setting. The role runs from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and centers on targeted assessments and collaborative interventions to support K-12 learners.

You will conduct formal and informal evaluations, synthesize findings into actionable reports, and assist with ARD/IEP meetings while staying aligned with legal requirements and best practices.

Qualifications

• Hold valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician.
• Experience working with K-12 populations in an educational setting.
• Strong knowledge of eligibility criteria, evaluation procedures, and evidence-based assessment tools.
• Proficient at interpreting assessment results, synthesizing data, and creating comprehensive reports.
• Excellent communication skills with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and interpret formal and informal educational assessments to determine eligibility for special education services.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related professionals to collect information for comprehensive evaluations.
• Develop clear reports detailing outcomes and recommended instructional strategies.
• Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and assist with goal setting and progress monitoring.
• Provide consultation and support regarding accommodations, modifications, and strategies for diverse learners.
• Adhere to current legal requirements in evaluation, documentation, and collaboration.
