Job summary

Turner & Townsend Heery is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee K-12 Education projects in Beaufort, SC. The role focuses on managing budgets, schedules, procurement, quality and risk, while coordinating with design professionals, contractors, and administrators.

The successful candidate will interface with clients at all stages, prepare detailed project plans, track progress, and manage change orders to protect scope and schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience as Project Manager in public-sector design/construction.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client facing roles.
• Ability to manage complex projects across budgets and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with design professionals, contractors, and administrators to meet contract specs and codes.
• Manages budget, schedule, procurement, quality and risk for multiple projects.
• Interfaces with client and consultants at all stages of projects.
• Plans projects, produces detailed plans, and creates action plans to meet objectives.
• Monitors performance, tracks progress, and reports variances.
• Implements change management and approves change orders with client input.
• Maintains project data integrity and documentation and conducts meetings.
