Job summary

Turner & Townsend HEERY is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager with K-12 construction experience to join our team in the United States. The ideal candidate will have prior experience supporting large-scale education projects, managing stakeholders, and ensuring compliant, on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include coordinating architects, engineers, and suppliers; tracking milestones; reporting; and applying best practices in project governance and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant project management experience.
• Must have public sector Owner's Rep/Advisor experience, preferably with education projects.
• Strong organizational and management skills and effective presentation abilities.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore and construction PM tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage stakeholders including architects, engineers, and supply chains to deliver compliant projects.
• Analyze, track, and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slips.
• Verify that project governance, processes and systems are utilized.
• Ensure application of best practice on all projects.
• Produce formal project status reports and other required reports.
• Monitor progress of multiple construction projects to ensure standards are applied.
• Manage interface between suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviews.
• Provide technical support to owners, architects, GC's and regional stakeholders.
• Forecast and update key project milestones.
• Provide cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance as needed.
