Job summary

Concorde Education seeks independent instructional contractors to provide dance enrichment services for K–12 students. This is a potential contractor assignment, not an employee position, with on-site opportunities at partner schools and scheduling that varies by assignment.

Contractors may plan and deliver age-appropriate dance activities, adapt instruction to student levels, and submit brief session completion forms.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 60 college credits where required by assignment.
• Experience with dance instruction, choreography, performance, or related movement.
• Experience teaching, tutoring, coaching, mentoring, or leading activities with school-age students.
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom facilitation skills.
• Availability to provide services for the accepted assignment schedule and communicate schedule issues promptly.
• Familiarity with age-appropriate instructional practices, music-based activities, and classroom/studio management.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate engaging, age-appropriate dance instruction and movement sessions.
• Teach foundational dance techniques, rhythm, coordination, choreography, and creative movement through structured, hands-on activities.
• Adapt instruction based on student experience levels, site requirements, available space, and program objectives.
• Guide students in developing dance routines, performance skills, teamwork, creativity, and self-confidence.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, inclusive learning environment.
• Communicate assignment-related needs or concerns with Concorde and school staff.
• Complete a brief session completion form after each scheduled session.
• Follow applicable site safety, visitor, technology, emergency, and student-protection procedures.
