Job summary

Balfour Beatty Construction, in Atlanta, Georgia, is seeking a Project Manager to lead our K-12 Education team in the local area. The Project Manager is responsible for overall direction, completion, and financial outcomes of a construction project, directing contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, and schedule adherence.

The role requires 10–15 years in commercial construction PM, strong supervisory experience, and proficiency with PM software.

Qualifications

Minimum of a B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
10–15 years in a commercial construction project management role.
Three years or more of direct supervisory experience.
Experience with project management software (Constructware, P6, Timberline, etc.).
Experience with cost projection, financial analysis, budget reviews, labor reports.
Experience with JD Edwards or similar construction applications.

Responsibilities

Direct the overall direction, completion, and financial outcomes of construction projects.
Lead contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, and schedule requirements.
Oversee project financial projections and budgets, ensuring quality and safety standards.
Foster customer and community relations.
Develop leadership and employee development within the team.
