Job summary

Balfour Beatty US is seeking a Superintendent for our Georgia team to lead the direction and completion of designated construction projects, with a focus on K-12 facilities. You will supervise field operations, manage schedules, and coordinate with engineers, architects, and client representatives to ensure quality, safety, and profitability.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of commercial construction and field leadership experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lead on multiple phases of projects from start to finish.
• Experience reading and interpreting complex drawings, submittals, and specs.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven track record managing subcontractors and client relations.
• Experience with project management software (Constructware, P6, Timberline).

Responsibilities

• Provide field leadership and supervise daily site operations.
• Develop and maintain look-ahead schedules and drive milestones.
• Ensure QA adherence to plans, codes, and owner requirements.
• Enforce safety policies, OSHA compliance, and conduct meetings.
• Coordinate with project team and client representatives to ensure alignment.
• Coordinate inspections with authorities and maintain logs and progress reports.
