Job summary

Element Consulting, Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction/Project Manager in the Los Angeles area to lead multi-phase projects from pre-construction through close-out.

The role requires overseeing budgets, schedules, and coordination with public agencies and designers. Candidates should have 10+ years of relevant experience, a bachelor’s degree in architecture/engineering/construction management, and CCM credentials (or equivalent CMAA credential).

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years of full-time professional construction/PM experience, incl. projects >$10M.
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering or construction management.
• CCM credential may substitute for education.
• Fifteen (15) years of full-time experience coordinating complex projects >$10M; eight (8) years in charge.

Responsibilities

• Manage, oversee, and coordinate all phases of pre-construction through close-out.
• Review pre-construction docs and submit comments to Designer.
• Plan, organize, and prepare reports on project status for upper management.
• Coordinate with public agencies and District staff during pre-construction and construction.
• Manage project budget and schedule; monitor monthly budget and reflect status.
• Review contractor schedules and RFC responses; handle change orders.
• Monitor payments to contractors and other parties; administer PSAs.
• Coordinate district delivery of fixtures, furniture, and equipment.
• Oversee project close-out with DSA and financial close-out.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
