Cumming Group seeks a Construction Manager to support a K-12 client program in Los Gatos, CA. The role requires direct experience in DSA-regulated K-12 construction projects, overseeing contractors, schedules, budgets, quality control, and site safety to ensure successful delivery.

Ideal candidate will have seven years of progressive field experience and a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture. The salary range is provided and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field as listed.
• Minimum seven years of progressive construction management experience.
• Experience managing DSA-regulated K-12 school construction projects in California.

Responsabilités

• Determine labor requirements and dispatch workers to construction sites.
• Inspect and analyze projects for compliance with building and safety codes and regulations.
• Interpret plans and contract terms for staff, workers, and clients, representing the owner or developer.
• Prepare and negotiate contracts, changes, and additions with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Prepare budget estimates, track progress and costs, and develop quality control programs.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve issues and optimize work procedures and timelines.
• Plan, manage, and coordinate all aspects of project schedule, scope, and cost.
• Value engineer the project to identify savings and ensure suitable substitutions.
