Job summary

Cumming Group seeks a Project Engineer to support the Project Management Department in the field and at the Los Gatos, CA office. You will assist the Senior/Project Manager with project administration, coordination of documents, and field representations to ensure construction aligns with plans and schedule.

Responsibilities include scheduling, cost tracking, bid processing, sub-contract administration, and meeting minutes. Strong communication and multi-tasking are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in project construction.
• Ability to read blueprints and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist top Project Manager on site in design, bid, and project phase scheduling.
• Provide update/status reporting for costs and schedules.
• Administer project sub-contracts and bid processes.
• Facilitate job site meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
• Monitor contract compliance and report concerns to PM.
• Support QA/QC, change orders, RFIs/Submittals, and field reporting.
