Job summary

CDW Lifecycle Solutions, LLC is seeking a Computer Repair Technician to diagnose and repair hardware and software issues on Chromebooks in a K–12 setting. This long‑term contract role requires hands-on repair work, tooling, and adherence to QC standards.

Responsibilities include reviewing work orders, testing devices, performing hardware and software repairs, and supporting cross‑team training across multiple device types while meeting production goals.

Qualifications

• Experience as a computer technician or in a similar IT role.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.

Responsibilities

• Accurately review customer work orders and carefully assess user‑reported computer issues to identify and resolve problems.
• Test and evaluate customer device needs to determine appropriate repairs.
• Perform electronic device repairs, including hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot customer hardware or software issues while ensuring proper procedures are followed.
• Set up, repair, or replace computer hardware and associated devices as needed.
• Follow all QC standards, ensuring each device is reviewed per customer request and meets required quality checks.
• Remain flexible with internal movement across K–12 teams to support training on multiple device types and stay current with OEM requirements.
• Meet established production goals while consistently upholding QC standards.
