Job summary

Milton Academy seeks its first-ever K-12 Chief Learning Officer (CLO). Reporting to the Head of School, the CLO will lead academic excellence, inspire faculty and students, and advance Milton’s strategic vision across Lower, Middle, and Upper School divisions.

The CLO will oversee interdisciplinary centers, teacher development, and a year-round program expansion, including AI initiatives, while partnering with leadership and the Board to realize Milton’s Still Daring plan.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of progressive academic leadership experience.
• Proven ability to inspire faculty and students.
• Strong track record in professional development for faculty.
• Deep understanding of AI and its applications in schools.

Responsibilities

• Inspire curricular and pedagogical renewal across all three divisions.
• Lead Milton’s interdisciplinary centers and the teacher development program.
• Oversee K-12 professional development and succession planning.
• Advance the school’s AI initiatives and policies for students and staff.
• Collaborate with leadership, board, and equity partners to implement strategic plans.
