Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit 16 CSIU-CARES Office in Milton, PA seeks a strategic Chief Academic Officer to lead curriculum, assessment and regional educational services for Early Childhood through Grade 12. This senior role also oversees School Age Services and leadership development within CSIU.

The CAO will coordinate with member districts, lead grant initiatives, and ensure compliance across programs while reporting to the Executive Director.

Formación

• Master’s degree in education required; Ph.D. preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience with ESSA, state/local assessments, curriculum development.
• Grant writing and management experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide planning, oversight, staff supervision, and project management for Curriculum, Assessment and Regional Educational Services.
• Lead School Age Services including Behavioral/Mental Health, STEM, English Language Learners and after-school programs.
• Drive Leadership Development and Act 45 opportunities for district leaders.
• Seek and secure public and private funds to support CSIU programs and services.
• Ensure compliance across education, grants, contracts, and programs.
• Represent CSIU in public networking and partnership activities.
