Job summary

The Broadband Program Coordinator at the Idaho State Board of Education leads Idaho’s K-12 broadband funding initiatives and E-Rate support. You will collaborate with LEAs, external stakeholders, and agency partners to implement funding programs under state law and provide ongoing training and guidance.

The role involves coordinating with the Education Opportunity Resource Committee, managing budgets, and ensuring timely reimbursements and reporting while supporting outreach and program

Qualifications

• Experience with project planning, implementation and documentation.
• Experience managing large data sets, quality control and data analysis.
• Experience tracking and managing budgets.
• Basic understanding of telecommunications and networking technologies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and services.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate complex processes to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Recommend, maintain, and follow program policies and procedures.
• Administer program budgets and ensure internal controls in reimbursement processes.
• Monitor funding commitments and distribution of funds.
• Develop and deliver training resources for LEAs.
• Support LEA staff with broadband and related services guidance.
• Suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and impact.
• Collaborate with agency finance on reimbursements, invoicing, reporting.
• Maintain data and documentation to administer the program.
