Job summary

Cincinnati State seeks a Lead Trainer for the WDC program in Evendale, OH to develop, set up, and deliver hands-on broadband and fiber-optic training. You will create curricula aligned with industry needs and certification requirements, and coordinate with WDC admins to standardize offerings.

The role involves teaching in labs, preparing materials, and partnering with corporate clients to define training needs, proposals, and curricula, while guiding instructors and space use.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mathematics knowledge and ability.
• Experience teaching in skilled trades: electrician, electronics technician, utility worker, security systems, IT Networking, cabling.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Implement and deliver instruction with experiential learning (labs and lectures).
• Prepare and deliver all course materials and lessons.
• Develop programs ensuring alignment with industry standards and certifications.
• Ensure students achieve learning outcomes per Broadband/5G curriculum.
• Manage labs and set-up needs for the program.
• Identify equipment and supply needs for operations.
